The Open University
Written by Jennifer Parkin
We’ve been carrying out interviews with occupants of the Jennie Lee building at the Open University this week. Two things really stand out about the OU. First is the lack of students – which makes the campus feel like one big staff club (not necessarily a bad thing…). Second is that they take branding very seriously. There were even topiary OU logos. We were impressed.

Anyway, the Jennie Lee building brings new meaning to the term open plan. There really is nowhere to hide. Spent the day engaged in reciprocal voyeurism, as I watched people in meetings watching me interview.
