Some issues tended to crop up time and time again in the case studies we carried out on innovative academic work environments.  Often these issues were sticking points in delivery, but also became sources of user-dissatisfaction post-occupancy.

In this section we discuss a number of these tricky issues, and how they can be avoided or resolved.
